Today was a fun day. I went to Irving Nature Park with Karen, Catherine and their son Robbie to do a family photo shoot. Robbie is a great little guy. He's 5 years old, loves Sesame Street and is starting school (with my nephew Adrian, in fact) this coming Tuesday.

The weather couldn't have been better. Sun, a breeze and mosquitoes in force! Ok, the bugs were irritating, but once we got out of the woods, it was all good!

We walked around the look-out area of the park a little, and I got some nice shots up high, with the bay providing the perfect backdrop. Robbie had his heart set on dipping his feet in the ocean, so once we had finished with the look-out, we headed down to Saint's Rest Beach where Robbie proceeded to have a great time! After a few more family shots Robbie, along with the family pooch Bella, "waded" in the Bay of Fundy's icy water. He's a brave boy! The "wading" turned into a full-on dunk, and by the end, Robbie and Bella were soaked from head to tail.

It was a nice afternoon, and even though Robbie had the occasional meltdown, all was well. I was impressed with how his moms handled things, they are awesome parents and it shows because he's a great kid and they were all a pleasure to photograph. :)

  1. Thanks Shawna, we had a great time. Robbie talked about it all day. Love the photos. We will definitely do this again.
